Golf - Nkokonjeru Masters Cup

Bhardwaj as a company has been traditionally involved in organising various events in the UK as an interest.  The most memorable was The Asian Music Festival at Henley on Thames held in open-air on the grounds of Henley Royal Regatta.  Although the event only ran from 1997 to 2000, people have fond memories of that unique event.

In 2005, with natural organisational ability Ashok launched The Nkokonjeru Masters Cup on behalf of Freemasons of which he then became the Event Coordinator. 

The golf event is aimed at professionals and the business community to raise funds for Masonic charities.This golf event has grown from 77 golfers in 2005 to nearly 300 in 2007 when the event had to be held on four different courses to accommodate all the players and became one of the largest golfing events of its kind.

Since 2008, this is now held at Foxhills Golf and Country Club in Surrey where over 200 golfers participate each year and many keen golfers regard this as the “mother of all events”.

The event is sponsored by Barclays Commercial Bank and Bhardwaj Insolvency Practitioners.


It is an ideal event to entertain clients and business colleagues.
